Happy 4th of July From The Founding Fathers

I had planned not to post today since I am in SC. But in recognition of the 30 Democratic, 1 Independent, and 3 Republican Senators who rejected an Amendment which would make desecration of the American flag illegal, I decided to post some quotes.

John Quincy Adams on why July 4th and Christmas are our most celebrated holidays - “Is it not that in the chain of human events the birthday of the nation is indissolubly linked with the birthday of the savior?”

Patrick Henry - “It cannot be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great nation was founded not be religionists, but by Christians, not on religions, but on the gospel of Jesus Christ .”

John Jay (1st Chief Justice of Supreme Court) - “We as a Christian nation should elect Christians for our rulers.”

George Washington - “To remove Christian principles from education would cause a loss in national morality.”

G Washington - “religion and morality are the foundations of our political structure. In vain would a man claim patriotism and try to subvert these great pillars.”

John Adams - “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and Christian people, it is inadequate to any other.”

US Supreme Court 1811 (Peoples v Ruggles)- “whatever strikes at Christianity strikes at the root or our Government.”

James Madison - “We have staked the future of America upon the capacity of each of us to govern ourselves by the Ten Commandments.”

May God Bless you this July 4th.

BR,

Amen. God bless America!!!

Oh, and it's about time that we bless Him too! He has been unwelcome in our school house, court house, white house, church house, and every other house for so long... it's about high time that we get down on our hands and knees and beg His forgiveness, repent of our sin, and then stand up and take this country back from all of the secular humanists, religionists, feminists, satanists, revisionists, etc., etc. Oops! Sorry for preaching on your blog.

Happy Fourth of July.

In Christ,
JLG

I saw your Blog...I'm looking forward to our new adventure:)I guess we will help each other in this new techno feild. I love your comments on flattening of the world.

When you go to www.blogger.com/home
there is a blogger help section to the right - click on Blogger help. Then on the right of that page there is a most popluar section and the first post under that is, how to edit my link list.

Now, if I can figure out how to add a link...I'll add yours.

May the Lord grant patience as we try to keep up with this generation.
